Bypass openVPN
« on: April 27, 2015, 05:22:12 PM »
Hello guys
I am completely new to all this VPN stuff, so I would like little bit of more expert help here.
Recently my university has started providing its VPN service over openVPN. I would like to skip that step and use the windows 7 settings to setup a VPN network. At this point I am not be able to make it work. Is it possible? If yes, can you provide any tips?
The reason I am looking for a free-software solution is that my research demands every bit of power my PC can provide (I am running simulations on fluids). I know that openVPN is a pretty light programme but I would prefer not to use it!

PS: I can totally understand that my knowledge over VPN is pretty limited so please forgive my ignorance :)
