VPN connection not working properly

Hi there

I have configured Windows built-in VPN as below:
PC-A (Windows 7) as the Host PC at my home with static IP internet
PC-B (Windows 10) as the Client PC at office

When I try to connect, a connection is established (as indicated on the Host PC) but the internet connection on the Client PC gets disabled. Hence, the Host PC is not visible in the "Network" folder of the Client PC. As soon as I disconnect VPN, the internet connection on the Client PC is restored.

Where am I wrong? How do I access the shared folders on Host PC with Client PC in my office?

Free vpns are not anymore the secure way of securing your online connection and online activity. I have been using PureVPN for quite some time now and it is working great and some how haven't had any problems yet.
