Nigeria / MTN / Multilinks NIGERIA VPN Setting

Settings for your VPN using MTN NIGERIA:


1. Subscribe to any BlackBerry Plan by texting:

    BBCWEEK to 21600 for 1 week subscription costs N500
    BBC to 21600 for 1 month subscription costs N1500

2. Modem settings
   configure your modem's access point with the access point name: "blackberry.net"
   
3. Connecting VPN

After connecting your modem. you can now launch your VPN client and set the Protocol type to "UDP". I Use PD-Proxy if you use a different vpn provider please consult their manual on how to change your protocol.

Goto advanced settings and set UDP Port or remote port to 500 in the box beside it, then Local port or bind local port to 9200.

If you are using a different vpn provider you might need to ask them to have their vpn server to listen to udp port 500.

click connect then wait till it successfully connects. after that set your browsers/internet applications to not use proxies.

Settings for MULTILINKS:


Just follow the same steps 1 to 3 from above but you need to enter a different port number


Set UDP port/Remote port  to 9200 or 9201

Set local port or bind local port to 8788.
