I've been with NordVPN for the past 7 months and YES their service is very slow, but not as slow as the speeds you were experiencing. Obvious they don't have the best technical people. I also found their tech support lacking, they seem to have just a very basic understanding, they have ignored my more technical questions. One of the Qs I asked was why they didn't use Perfect Forward Secrecy in openvpn. I purchased the Stack Social 2 yrs special, will NOT be renewing. May just give up and go with another provider soon.
