VPN Discussion / Re: New to openVPN
« on: February 05, 2016, 09:50:23 PM »
Based on the hostname provided (ny1-ovpn.purevpn.net) I believe that would be in New york.

You could also ping the hostname so you could get the IP and then use a page like http://www.pdproxy.com/ip-to-country.htm this to determine the country of that IP

Philippines / Re: Cant Connect to PH website especially gaming server
« on: November 05, 2013, 01:53:17 AM »
There is a problem with the routing of this PH server to the website you are trying to reach. We have already informed our host but I doubt that they would do anything to fix this. We are going to set up our own server soon to fix this.

VPN Discussion / Re: Any good Mexican server for my VPN service?
« on: October 28, 2013, 11:29:04 AM »
The only reputable host I know that offers servers in Mexico is http://www.hostdime.com.mx/

Most of the mexican hosts out there are actually selling servers from US so you need to make sure that they do have servers in Mexico.

My advice: If your clients do not really need the Mexican IP then just host your server in the US preferably from San Antonio, Austin, Houston and Dallas because hosting in Mexico is really expensive compared in US.

Have you installed a different VPN on your computer lately?

Try reinstalling your TAP driver: http://www.pdproxy.com/knowledgebase/how-to-reinstall-the-win32-tap-driver-of-pd-proxy-6.htm

Your on windows right?

Do you see the openvpn icon on your status bar?

Image is taken from this tutorial: http://www.vpntutorials.com/tutorials/openvpn-client-setup-tutorial-for-windows-8/

Just right click on the icon to choose your server and then it will ask for your username and password.
