Title: Bypass ISP Censorship
Post by: 123123c123 on November 06, 2014, 11:16:49 AM
I am a college student and since I do not own a decent laptop I am forced to use the college IT system. It is quite infuriating to be constantly faced with problems with blocked websites etc... My college login was revoked of internet rights (due to playing around with CMD etc...) so I have been using Kali Linux instead of Windows on the systems for a while and logging onto the network through WiFi. The ISP blocks access to things like Hotmail and Gmail which I really need access to but I have found no way around. I have tried setting up proxy settings on IceWeasel (browser) but had no success, not sure if due to poor proxy server or the ISP somehow blocking proxy traffic. I am seeking for a solution which lets me access unfiltered internet through Kali Linux, perhaps through a VPN or a more sophisticated proxy setup. I would appreciate any help given.
